A Blast From the Past

It’s been nearly a year since I last posted to this blog. Much has happened in these months and this short post will be an update. I hope to begin posting regularly now.

The biggest news is that Elyn and I have relocated to the United States more or less permanently. We are living in Cottonwood, Arizona, which is near to Sedona. This is a beautiful area and we are closer to family here.

We arrived just ahead of the Covid 19 pandemic and have been isolating ourselves and waiting for the emergency to pass. I’m sure this is not news to you. You are probably pretty much in the same boat as us.

Coming back to the US after living abroad for 11 years is a shock in many ways. The country has changed drastically over the years and we feel like ex-pats In our own country. This is part of the reason for my coming back to Fandango Life—to document the changes. I won’t get into that in this post, but I plan to post regularly from now on. I look forward to your response to this and future posts.

I have started updating the design for this blog, but you will see more significant changes in the future. I welcome you back and look forward to our future conversations
