Discontiguous Community

In my recent Year End Reflection, I began to consider how we create communities that serve our needs better than simply relying on our neighbors and local friends. We are increasingly more connected with friends through the internet (email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.). I've coined the term "discontiguous community" for this phenomenon. In the video below I explore this new approach to creating community.
