The Mysteries of Gop Hill

In 2011 Elyn and I were traveling extensively in Wales, researching sites to include in our Powerful Places in Wales guidebook. Gop Hill is the second largest man-made hill in the UK. It was not easy to find, since sites are often not identified by road signs in Wales. After several failed attempts, we asked a local person, who directed us to a footpath leading up to the hill.
